This is the perfect drink for winter. Besides the fact that it tastes HEAVENLY, its health benefits are mind-blowing (blood purifier, liver toner, clarifies the skin, fights cold and helps the guts). Let’s strengthen that immune system, homies!

Prep time: 5 mins
Serves: 2 persons

Ingredients:
500 ml plant milk- I used soy milk (oat milk thickens to form a pile of goo. Not recommended)
1 tbsp brown sugar- Or any other sweetener: Maple syrup, honey, agave
1 tsp coconut oil
1/4 tsp ginger powder
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/3 tsp turmeric
1/3 tsp cinnamon powder- or 1 cinnamon stick
1 clove
1 anise star
Tiny pinch of black pepper- or 2 black peppercorns

Method:

  1. Add all the ingredients to a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Whisk for a couple of minutes to combine and to froth the milk.
  3. Once hot (not boiled), Serve it immediately.
  4. Sprinkle a dash of cinnamon on top for that extra flare.
