I’m gonna assume y’all love olives cuz why would anybody hate a bite of meaty and salty goodness! Olive Tapenade is great as a sandwich spread or a dip for crackers.
This vegan spread screams summer and Mediterranean flavors! You must give it a shot, friends!
Preparation time: 5 minutes
1C pitted olives- Black, green or kalamata olives
1 garlic clove
1 tbsp herb- I used thyme, but you can add basil/ parsley/ oregano
1 tsp chilli flakes- Optional
1/4C roasted peppers- Optional
5 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp lemon juice
Literally, chuck everything in a food processor, pulse, scrape the sides and repeat until you get a nice smooth spread. Voila!
Pro-tip: Don’t add salt as olives are salty. But give it a taste test. I tend to add a pinch later.
